International cooperation of the Symbat Institute of Design and Technology at AHEU
International cooperation is one of the priority areas of activity of the Symbat Institute of Design and Technology at AHEU and is aimed at integration into the global educational and scientific space. Cooperation with foreign higher education institutions and research organizations is carried out in the following key areas:
  • Student and faculty exchange
    Implementation of exchange programs, internships, and joint projects that enable our students to gain international experience and expand their professional horizons.
  • Joint research and projects
    Participation in international competitions, conferences, and scientific initiatives aimed at developing advanced ideas and technologies in the field of design and technology.
  • Partnership with foreign universities
    Cooperation with leading universities and institutes for joint educational programs, curriculum development, and exchange of teaching experience.
  • International internships and practical training
    Organization of practical programs abroad to reinforce theoretical knowledge and explore global trends.
The Symbat Institute of Design and Technology at AHEU actively develops international cooperation.

Implementation of joint projects and research
The concluded agreements enable the implementation of extensive international exchange programs and collaborative research. Over the past three years, our Institute has actively participated in various joint projects, including international lectures, seminars, and research initiatives:

– In October 2023, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Professional Communication, and Academician of the International Academy of Neurosciences Armen Surenovich Akopyan from the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University delivered an online lecture for students on “Recommendations for Using MS Word in Preparing Research Papers.”

– In February 2024, Candidate of Technical Sciences Ainur Buudaiykovna Dzholdoshova from Kyrgyz State Technical University delivered a lecture course on “The Use of Volumetric Textures in Costume Design” for students in the fields of “Arts” and “Manufacturing and Processing Industries.”

– In March 2024, Master of Arts Altankhaich Baasan from CITI University (Mongolia) delivered a lecture course on “The Sociological Issues of Design Education” for students enrolled in the 6B021 “Arts” program.

– In November 2024, within the framework of cooperation with the Novosibirsk Technological Institute (branch of Kosygin Russian State University), Doctor of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor Alexey Ratmirovich Sokolovsky delivered lectures on:
• “Development of Fundamental Scientific and Applied Tasks for Creating New Technologies and Technical Means for Light Industry”
• “Development of Fundamental and Applied Research in the Fashion Industry.”

– In June 2025, 14 faculty members of the Institute successfully completed a professional development course on “Virtual Garment Design in 3D Programs,” organized jointly with the Novosibirsk Technological Institute (branch of Kosygin Russian State University), and received corresponding certificates.
These initiatives demonstrate our commitment to the development of international science and education, the expansion of opportunities for our students and faculty, and the strengthening of the Institute’s position on the global stage.
